Part 1 — Terms of Use
Who we are
This website is operated by Chen Xin Tempered Glass & Partition Sdn Bhd (诚信钢化玻璃与隔断装修有限公司, formerly trading as Chen Xin Renovation), a commercial fit-out contractor based in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, working across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Chen Xin Tempered Glass & Partition Sdn Bhd.
What these terms cover
Part 1 applies to your use of this website. Part 2 sets out the terms on which we visit, measure, quote for, install and hand over tempered-glass and gypsum-board partitions, glass doors, shopfront glazing, and — where you ask for them — ceiling, floor, wiring and plumbing, and cabinetry work. By using the website you accept Part 1; by asking us to visit or quote, you accept Part 2.
Using the website
You may browse this website and use the contact routes on it to reach us. The photographs on this website are of our own installations and are our property. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them, or the text on this website, for any purpose other than contacting us, without our written permission.
Information on the website
We keep the information on this website accurate and current, and we correct it when we find an error. What suits a particular unit is decided at the site visit.
Rates and quotations
Where a rate appears on this website it is our published “from” rate per square foot at the time of writing. The figure for a particular job depends on the measured area and the specification, and only the written quotation we give you after the site visit describes the scope, price and terms of that job. Nothing on this website is a quotation or an offer to supply at a particular price.
Contacting us through WhatsApp, telephone and email
The WhatsApp, telephone and email routes on this website are operated by third parties: Meta Platforms for WhatsApp, your telephone carrier, and your email provider. Their terms and privacy policies apply to anything you send through them. This website itself collects, stores and processes no personal information. It has no forms, sets no cookies, runs no scripts and uses no analytics.

Liability

Part 2 — Service Terms
The site visit and measurement
We visit the unit at a time you choose, take the dimensions ourselves and advise on the material, the frame and the layout. The visit and the measurement are free. They cover the areas you ask us to look at, on the day and in the condition we find them.
The quotation
Within 24 hours of the visit we give you a written quotation. It describes the partitions and doors, the material and the frame finish, any frosting, any ceiling, floor, wiring or cabinetry work included, the price, and the payment terms that apply to that job — including, where you have asked for them, the instalment arrangement and its conditions. Only that quotation, once you accept it, forms the agreement for the work. Anything not listed in it is not included, and there is no cost that is not in it.
Scope and additional work
We carry out the work described in the accepted quotation. If, once work has started, we find that more is needed — a wall that will not take a fixing, a floor that needs levelling before glass can sit on it, a service that has to be moved — we will tell you before doing anything about it and quote for it separately. Additional work is only carried out with your agreement.
What we need from you
Safe access to the unit on the day of the visit and the days of installation; a mains supply on site; the areas where the partitions run cleared; and a contact who can make decisions about the job while we are on site.
Installation
We protect the floor before the frames go up, set the glass and the board as quoted, hang the doors, and keep the site in order while we work. The unit is left clean when we leave.
Completion
We complete the work as quoted, to the budget in the quotation and to the date agreed in it. When the installation is finished we walk it through with you. If anything in the agreed scope is incomplete, or is not as quoted, tell us then and we will put it right.
After the work is finished

Photographs of our work
We photograph our own installations for our records and, from time to time, publish them on this website and our Facebook page, as with the photographs already on this website. We do not publish your name or your address. If you would prefer that we do not photograph the work at your unit, or do not publish photographs of it, tell us before installation and we will not.
Cancellation
You may cancel a site visit at any time before it takes place, at no cost. If you wish to cancel after accepting a quotation, tell us as soon as possible; any glass or material already cut or purchased for your job, and any work already carried out, will be charged as set out in the quotation.
